The story started off in 2013 when a model was caught up to be made of titanium and carbon fibre panels. Today, amazing it is considered to be a biggest reality!
Long story back when we were kids, it was considered for titanium to be a superficial stuff. We use to see superhero armor, sci – fi spaceships and cold war submarines made of Titanium whereas today, we see this material to be available everywhere. From aircrafts to missiles to golf clubs to laptops, all around the world, titanium is getting common now. But the questionable part was about the manufacturing of the cars.
Is it possible to use titanium in cars? Well, the answer was given by Icona Vulcano which is a slate grey, vehicle with 3500 - pound supercar made up of panels of carbon fiber and titanium while the concept was introduced primarily in Shanghai Motors Show back in 2013. Today, after three years, in 2016 the concept has been changed and brought to reality. Hopefully, it will be as efficient as the expectations are.
